2. Account Registration & User Responsibilities
2.1 Account Creation
- To access Skillzversity, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You agree not to share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access.
2.2 User Conduct
By using Skillzversity, you agree not to:
- Violate any laws or regulations.
- Share, resell, or distribute course content without permission.
- Engage in fraudulent activities, such as purchasing courses with stolen payment details.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or instructors.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the Platform’s operation.
Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or legal action.
3. Course Enrollment & License
3.1 Enrollment Rights
- When you enroll in a course, Skillzversity grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and use the content for personal learning only.
- You do not acquire ownership of the content.
- Instructors retain intellectual property rights over their courses.
3.2 Course Access
- Course access duration may be lifetime or limited, depending on the instructor’s settings.
- Skillzversity does not guarantee indefinite access to courses if they are removed due to policy violations or instructor requests.
4. Instructor Terms & Revenue Share
4.1 Instructor Responsibilities
By publishing courses on Skillzversity, instructors agree to:
- Provide high-quality, accurate content that does not infringe on any intellectual property rights.
- Ensure course materials are updated and relevant.
- Comply with all laws and regulations regarding online education.
4.2 Revenue Share & Payouts
- Instructors earn a percentage of revenue from course sales, determined by our Instructor Revenue Share Policy.
- Skillzversity will process payouts on a regular basis (e.g., monthly) via approved payment methods.
- Skillzversity reserves the right to adjust commissions, with notice to instructors.
5. Payment, Pricing & Refund Policy
5.1 Payment Methods
- Skillzversity accepts online payments through credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other third-party payment processors.
- All transactions are secure and encrypted.
5.2 Pricing Policy
- Skillzversity reserves the right to adjust course prices based on promotions, market demand, and other factors.
- Instructors may set their own prices but must comply with our Pricing Guidelines.
5.3 Refund Policy
- Students may request a refund within 30 days if they are unsatisfied or experience technical issues.
- Refunds are not available if:
- A student completes more than 50% of the course.
- A student violates Skillzversity’s policies.
- Refund requests must be made through the Refund Request Portal.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
- Skillzversity and its licensors own all platform-related intellectual property, including logos, trademarks, and software.
- Instructors retain ownership of their course content but grant Skillzversity a license to host, distribute, and market their courses.
- Users may not copy, modify, or resell Skillzversity’s content without explicit permission.
7. Termination & Account Suspension
7.1 User-Initiated Termination
- You may delete your account at any time, but Skillzversity is not obligated to provide refunds for unused courses.
7.2 Skillzversity’s Right to Suspend or Terminate
We may suspend or terminate accounts if users:
- Violate these Terms.
- Engage in fraudulent or harmful activities.
- Repeatedly infringe on intellectual property rights.
We reserve the right to remove courses, ban users, or take legal action if necessary.
8. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
8.1 Informal Resolution
